Airey Consultants can credibly claim to be New Zealand’s foremost residential canal engineering practice as a result of experience required to undertake significant projects at Pauanui Waterways and Whitianga Waterways on the Coromandel Peninsula and Marsden Cove near the entrance to Whangarei Harbour in northland. Apart from canal construction expertise, these projects all encompass regular subdivision requirements such as storm water, sewage, water supply, roading and street scape design.
At the Remarkables Park in Queenstown the practice has developed significant strategic engineering plans for a large commercial / tourism project.
Design and construction management skills have been called on to complete the first stage. An upgrade plan for existing infrastructure was required to allow the development to proceed.
Similar work has also been undertaken for the Coromandel District Council to allow for further development in the Thames area.
The structural side of the practice encompasses design of large commercial and industrial projects including bulk retail stores, glass houses for commercial horticulture as well as smaller scale residential designs.
