Michael LeeBE, Dip. Highway Engineering, MIPENZ (Civil), CPEng, IntPE(NZ)Chartered Professional Engineer - Takapuna Office Michael has been working with Airey Consultants for almost 20 years.
He is experienced in subdivision developments, roading and drainage works.
He has significant local body and contract management experience, including pump stations and road reconstructions.
Michael is a keen boatie, fisherman and golfer and spends most of his long
weekends with his wife and two children at their westcoast bach.

Roger TwinameBE, MIPENZ (Civil, Structural), CPEngChartered Professional Engineer - Takapuna Office Roger has been working with Airey Consultants for more than 25 years.
He has a wide experience in structural engineering and fire engineering design in commercial, industrial and residential design projects located about the greater Auckland area and around the country.
Roger is the author and illustrator of a number of books including The
New Zealand A to Z All Ages: Amazing Alphabetical Alliterations and
his artworks has been on exhibition in studios around Auckland. He
participates in numerous mountainbiking and multisports events. With two
teenage children combined with his various talents he is a true
inspiration for time management!

James GreenwoodBE, MIPENZ (Civil), CPEng, IntPE(NZ)Chartered Professional Engineer - Orewa Office James has been working with Aireys since 1996. He has a strong background of land development and subdivisional projects, including large scale coastal developments. Skills include infrastructure design and project management.

Mike WilliamsBE, MIPENZ (Civil, Structural), CPEngChartered Professional Engineer - Pukekohe Office Mike has a wide experience encompassing all aspects of civil, structural and fire engineering, from residential to industrial and commercial projects, with strong capability in children's playground design and inspection.

David McKenzieBE, MIPENZ (Civil, Structural), CPEng, IntPE(NZ)Chartered Professional Engineer - Howick OfficeDavid has been with Airey
Consultants for 14 years and has been working in the greater Auckland area
for 20 years. He has extensive experience in structural engineering design
of residential, commercial, industrial and tensioned membrane structures.
He has had widespread involvement in various aspects of civil engineering,
including design and supervision of residential subdivisions, roading and
drainage projects. Outside of work, his wife, two children and sport
dominate his spare time. David is passionate about triathlon and
multisport and he has represented NZ in Xterra off-road triathlon.
Where time permits the odd game of golf is a must.

Chris ConcannonBE (Civil), GIPENZCivil Engineer – Takapuna OfficeChris has been with
Airey Consultants since the end of his 3rd year of university gaining work
experience as a student. Chris graduated in 2007 and has worked full time
ever since on some interesting and challenging structural and fire
engineering based projects. Chris has worked on various scale residential,
industrial and commercial projects in the greater Auckland area. Outside
of work Chris enjoys playing sports such as summer soccer and attempting
to hit the ball around a golf course. During the summer months he enjoys
getting away for the weekend to Mt Manganui and enjoys spending time at
the beach. Chris is also a keen rugby fan and enjoys playing guitar.

Andrew HoogerburgBE (Civil), GIPENZCivil Engineer – Takapuna OfficeAndrew has been with Airey
Consultants since his 3rd year of university gaining work experience as a
student, and after graduating in 2007 is gaining valuable experience in
structural and fire engineering. He has worked on a number of
residential, industrial, and commercial structures, he is always keen to
learn and up for a challenge. Andrew goes snowboarding as much as possible
during the winter, and likes to get out on the golf course or spend time
on a beach during the summer.

Nicola KnottOffice Manager - Orewa OfficeNicola is Airey Consultant Ltd’s
Orewa Branch Office Manager. Nicola is responsible for organising and
coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure the
smooth running of the office and is responsible for all administrative
duties. She has worked at Airey’s Orewa in this capacity for over 5
years.

Sandra LawrenceNZCD ArchDraughting – Orewa OfficeSandra has over 20 years of
multi-disciplinary draughting experience with primary experience in
wastewater processing / disposal and chemical process and control. She has
been working with Aireys for two years. On site
experience includes commissioning teams in New Zealand, Singapore and
Indonesia. When away from the office Sandra spends time with her
family with interests in netball, hockey and time out at the Bach in
Northland.

Sam LiuBE (Civil), GIPENZCivil Engineer – Takapuna OfficeSam has been working
with Aireys for 5 years. He experienced in subdivisional development,
roading and drainage design.

Abby LynneReceptionist and PA – Takapuna OfficeAbby is the full time
Receptionist at our Takapuna Branch and Personal Assistant to Director
Michael Lee. She has been working for Aireys for just over 2 years and has
been working in Office Administration for 4 years with work experience in
Queenstown and Wanaka. Abby also acts as Aireys Takapuna Head Librarian
and is responsible for organising our Company Staff Events. She enjoys the
outdoors and a good book on her time off.

Cam McGibbonNZCE (Civil), TIPENZ, ETPractCivil Engineer – Takapuna Office
Cam is a civil engineer with 17
years experience in a variety of civil engineering fields including
development engineering, geotechnical/environmental site investigations
and as a site engineer on construction sites in the U.K.
Since joining Airey Consultants Ltd in 2000, Cam now
specialises in the design and contract management of civil and marine
developments. Cam still enjoys the odd
game of ‘oldies’ rugby and a paddle in the surf. He is currently in the
process of raising two ‘active’ boys with his wife.
He is the keeper of the ‘cultural‘ end of the office
and sets the tone with some interesting music.

Asha PatelBE (Civil), GIPENZAssistant Civil Engineer – Takapuna OfficeAsha has been working
with Airey Consultants for over 3 Years. She has experience in subdivision
developments, roading and drainage works and has a particular interest in
stormwater engineering field and low impact design. She enjoys the
outdoors and movies with her husband and little girl.

Carolyn PowlesBE(Civil), GIPENZCivil Engineer - Takapuna OfficeCarolyn
started working at Aireys as a student in 2001, continued as a graduate
for a few years before leaving on a 3 year OE. She is now back full-time
as a Civil Engineer, working on Remarkables Park, in Queenstown and
various residential subdivisions. She is gaining valuable experience in
infrastructure design and project management. Outside of work, Carolyn
spends her time skiing in the Winter, and at the beach during Summer.

Natalie RooseboomBEng (Civil) MEStu (Sustainability Engineering), MIPENZCivil Engineer – Takapuna OfficeNatalie has been with
Airey Consultants since 2005. She has worked in South Africa, Ireland and
New Zealand and has experience in subdivision engineering including water
demand and reticulation, low impact stormwater design and resource
consents. Natalie and her husband enjoy sailing, mountainbiking and
skiing and they hope to introduce their two young boys to these activities
soon.

Farid Ahmad SawaizDip. ME (Civil & Structure), TIPENZStructural Engineer – Howick OfficeFarid came to New
Zealand as a refugee in 2001, prior to which he worked for the UNDP
(United Nations Development Programme) for 12 years.
Farid has been working with Aireys since 2003 as a structural engineer.
Farid and his wife and children live in Auckland.

Andrew SimsNZCADDesign Engineer – Takapuna OfficeAndrew has been with
Airey Consultants since 1996 and has wide ranging experience in land
development projects. Andrew also acts as IT manager and draws on
over twenty years of computer aided design experience. In his spare time
Andrew enjoys boating, fishing and the odd hack around the golf course.

Pieter StellingwerfNZCE (Civil)Civil Engineer – Takapuna OfficePieter has been working
with Airey Consultants for 2 years. Pieter is experienced in subdivision
development projects and has had significant Local Government experience
including design, project management and the operation and maintenance of
wastewater networks including pumping stations. Pieter’s weekends involve
children’s sports and he occasionally manages to fit in some free time to
cycle & ski.

Hugh WilsonNZCE, BE, ME. MIPENZ (Civil), CPEngChartered Professional Engineer – Takapuna OfficeHugh has worked in the
engineering sector for 18 years, the last 3 of which have been with Airey
Consultants. He has experience in a wide range of civil and environmental
engineering activities including water and wastewater pumping systems,
natural wastewater treatment plants and subdivisions. |
