About Us - Training

All of our engineers have exposure to a wide range of engineering fields and have the expertise required to carry a project through to completion.  In addition engineers are encourages to develop more in depth skills in one or more areas that we work in such as stormwater, wastewater and consenting.

Where specialist skills, such as geotechnical investigations and surveying, are required we work with specialist companies.  This allows us to select the company that is best positioned and skilled to provide the specialist inputs at a reasonable price and in a timely manner.

The nature of our company means that we have very little turnover of staff.  Our ability to retain high quality staff means that we can develop the depth and range of their skills over time.  Each employee goes to several courses and conferences each year according to their training needs and which fields they specialise in.

The ratio of junior staff to senior staff is maintained at a low level so that there is very close monitoring and good mentoring of developing engineers.
