This beautiful home is listed with NZ Heritage. After being extensively damaged in the Christchurch Earthquake Sequence our engineers worked to coordinate the repair with the insurers before undertaking a far more extensive renovation of the building in conjunction with Heritage NZ and the architects. These works included re-stabilising the building, rebuilding a number of the main vertical load paths, construct a new large open plan kitchen area, working rooms and a tac room.
